Do Not Invest in Fraudulent Businesses – HOS

At the retirement ceremony of Mrs. Elizabeth Funmilayo Morawo, Director and Health Educator at the Lagos State Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC), Mr. Gbayi Agbolade, representing the Head of Service, offered crucial advice to retirees. He cautioned against investing in fraudulent ventures and unnecessary expenditures during retirement. Mr. Gbayi prayed for Mrs. Morawo’s continued health, prosperity, and longevity, acknowledging her dedication and diligent service over the years.

Mrs. Eze-Okorafor Olaseni, representing the Director-General of the Lagos State Pension Commission (LASPEC), commended Mrs. Morawo for her exemplary service as highlighted by PSSDC management in their goodwill messages. She encouraged Mrs. Morawo to visit the LASPEC website for comprehensive information about her pension and gratuity, wishing her well in this new phase of life.

Mr. Olusola Kolawole, representing the Director-General of PSSDC, congratulated Mrs. Morawo on her retirement, praising her 27 years of excellent service. He described her as a compassionate individual who has significantly contributed to the health and counseling aspects of the Centre’s learning and development programs. He expressed hope that her retirement would lead to an even better life and advised her to collaborate with peers in her career path.

In her response, Mrs. Morawo expressed her gratitude to the Lagos State Government, the Director-General of PSSDC, and all PSSDC staff for celebrating her retirement and presenting her with gifts. She appreciated the support and recognition she received throughout her career.
