The Lagos State Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC) in collaboration with Learntor Foundation held Agile Digital Transformation Training for Executive Officials in the Lagos State Public Service at PSSDC, Magodo.

Speaking at the event, the Honourable Commissioner, the Ministry of Establishments and Training, Mr. Afọlábí Ayantayo stated that, one of the challenges facing the educational sector of the State was inadequate flow of information among parents about improved learning facilities and professional human resources available in the Lagos State public schools. He added that, many parents were ignorant of these resources as a result, denying children the right to quality education.
Ayantayo explained that, the communication gap should be bridged in order to allow every child access to quality education.
In her reaction, the Chairman, Health Service Commission, Dr. Atinuke Onayiga said that, the need to transform the health sector through effective communication among the Staff and it publics on different projects would be essential to better service delivery.

Earlier, the Director-General, Lagos State Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC), Mr. Adekunmilola Adio-Moses posited that , there was need to transform the system through the adaptation of agile leadership in the digital governance. He added that, PSSDC would be putting in its best by collaborating with relevant organisation for the achievement of effective capacity building of the State Public and Civil Servants.
The Founder, Learntor Foundation, Mrs Mercy George-Igbafe stated that, it was important to transform the human resources while transforming the infrastructure in order to achieve agile leadership and economic growth in the society.
Similarly, a project and portfolio Manager of the organization, Mrs Iyabo Okwaraiwe informed that , project management was important in the public sector as it would allow for transparency, accountability and efficiency in service delivery of projects within the government setting.
A professional Scrum Master and Agile Coach, Mr. Emmanuel Umoke said that agile way of working would be the new normal in revolutionizing all aspects of the society. He maintained that, the benefits of agile in governance were to enhance responsiveness to citizens needs, aids faster service delivery and ensure efficient employee management.
Other Lagos State Government Executive Officials present were: Chairman, Lagos State House of Assembly Civil Service Commission , Dr. Richard Osungboye represented by Mrs Akin- Allen, Director-General Office of Creativity and Innovation, Mrs Toyin Anjous- Ademuyiwa, Director, Training, Ministry of Establishments and Training, Mrs Abisola Dokunmi- Adegbite, Director Judicial Service Commission, Mrs Olufunmilayo Ajayi among others.
